We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Civil Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all phases of civil construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial)
  • Prepare and submit accurate project budget estimates ($100,001 – $500,000)
  • Create, track, and adjust construction schedules and project milestones
  • Supervise daily operations and lead a team of 3–4 employees and subcontractors
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Implement quality control and risk management programs
  • Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure all documentation and project reporting is accurate and timely

 

Job Requirements

Education

  • Trade certificates or diploma. 

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in civil, residential, and/or commercial project management
  • Experience with Canadian construction codes and site development practices is an asset
  • Building construction management experience

Certifications

  • Construction Trade Certification required
  • PMP or equivalent certification is considered an asset

Computer & Technology Proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Mac OS
  • Experience with CAD software (MicroStation or Civil 3D is an asset)

 

Work Conditions and Capabilities

  • Must work on-site at project locations (no remote work available)
  • Willingness to relocate and travel locally as required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Physically capable of performing on-site inspections
