Intermediate/Senior Civil Engineer
An Intermediate/ Senior Civil Engineer, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in municipal engineering design or land development, is required to work with engineering staff to develop plans and expedite approval for variety of land and building development projects. The individual must be competent in standard computer design programs and spread sheets. Familiarity with HRM development regulations is an asset.as are business and value engineering training and experience.
This position will offer the right individual the opportunity and training to rise to a senior management role.

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Nova Scotia

- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates

- Construction/contractor liaison and support
- Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements, interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work
